The Respect Life Knit and Crochet group is a combined effort of the three Catholic parishes in Burbank, plus people from other faiths. They meet the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month, and knit/crochet/quilt for the poor. Some of the items they make include baby blankets, sweaters, booties, hats, and scarves. Last year they made close to 3,000 items. | May 2010 |
