Rev. Msgr. Peter Healy, on his 50th anniversary in the priesthood
Born in Long Beach in 1928, his service in the archdiocese includes pastoral work, director of the Catholic Information Center and inital program director for the permanent diaconate. Msgr. Healy's first assignment was St. Philip Church, Pasadena, then Our Lady Chapel. He headed the Sodalities and in 1971 began the first class for deacons. He was pastor of Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills before coming to St Robert. Although retired he continues to serve mass.
